How long does it take from infection to the onset of disease?
It is currently assumed that it can take up to 14 days for a person to show symptoms after becoming infected; according to WHO this period is on average 5 to 6 days.

What are the symptoms?
The symptoms are similar to colds and flu – as the virus belongs to the same family – and include cough, headache, fatigue, fever, aching and difficulty breathing.
It is primarily spread through airborne contact or contact with contaminated objects.
Its incubation period is two to 14 days, with an average of seven days.

The spread of disease VS the spread of fear
